Day 01: Arrival Delhi

Upon arrival meet and greet by representative and followed by drive to hotel. Delhi is one of the most important cities of India, as it is the National Capital Territory, which is also the location of the major administrative and legal offices of the country. It is a popular destination amongst tourists, who wants to have a look at the heritage of India and the cultural ethnicity, though you will also get to see the traces of an emerging economy, and business state. Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi:
OLD DELHI SIGHTSEEING - From historic monuments to traditional markets to spicy street food, Old Delhi tour is a journey full of unexpected sights and surprises.

CHANDNI CHOWK - “Silver Square” is the most famous and historic street of Delhi, built around 300 years ago when the walled city of Shahjahanabad was established in the 17th century. Don’t let the word “old” mislead you. The energy of vibrant streets of Chandni Chowk is simply irresistible. This part of Delhi includes street food, vibrant bazaars where you can shop for some ancient artifacts and jewels.

JAMA MASJID is the last work of Emperor Shah Jahan. Its construction began in 1650 and was completed within six years. You can relive the Mughal or Mogul history of Delhi passing through the splendid corridors of this ancient mosque. The Jama Masjid stands across the road in front of the Red Fort.

RED FORT is the most magnificent ancient building of Delhi which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638. Designed by the Mughal architects Ustad Hamid and Ahmad, Red Fort is an important symbolic monument in India even today. Some of the captivating building it encloses is Diwani-I-am, Diwani-I-Khas, Rang Mahal, The Pearl Mosque etc.

NEW DELHI – NEW Delhi, India's national capital is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. The fascinating city reflects a rich culture, boasts of amazing architecture and is seeped in history. It is also a vibrant metropolis, with modern, well-planned office, commercial and residential complexes and colourful bazaars.

Humayun's Tomb was built by Humayun's widow, Hamida Banu Begum. Designed by a Persian architect named Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, the structure was begun in 1562 and completed in 1565. The tomb established a standard for all later Mughal monuments, which followed its design, most notably the Taj Mahal . We are quite close to Humayun Tomb also.

Qutub Minar : The tall minaret was constructed in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, and later completed by his successor Iltutmish. The soaring conical tower is an exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture.

India Gate : A memorial inscribed with the names of the valiant Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I.

Parliament House of India : The elegant circular design with 144 pillars, Parliament House flaunts excellent architecture by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker. There are chambers of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and the library inside the sprawling building.

Rashtrapati Bhawan : Residence of the Royalty Modern New Delhi, or New Delhi as it is called, centers around the Rashtrapati Bhawan. It is architecturally a very impressive building standing at a height, flowing down as it were to India Gate. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi / Agra (220 Kms; 04 Hrs Approx)

After breakfast commence drive to Agra. Agra is a must visit city on any Tour of India. Home of the World famous Taj Mahal, Agra provides avid glimpses of Mughal architecture. To be in Agra is like taking a walk through India's Mughal period history. Upon arrival our check into the hotel. After quick wash and change visit….

Visit Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love, it was constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD. Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day and glowes pearl-like in the moonlight and during the monsoon.

Later visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.

At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

After Agra Fort, the monument that is most important in Agra is the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah or "Baby Taj" as it is called sometimes. A highly ornate edifice, this mausoleum is considered as the imminent precursor of the Taj Mahal as far as elaborate carvings and inlay work are concerned. Though the structure does not have much to offer architecturally, it makes a clear departure from the earlier Mughal tombs built during the period and is softer and with many inlay carvings. Day 04: Agra - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (233 Kms; 04 Hrs Approx)

After having visit commence drive to Jaipur. - the fabled "pink city" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors are now living monuments.

Abhaneri, Abhaneri is a small town village, Abhaneri was named as Abha Nagri, which means the city of brightness, A detour is well merited for its amazing stepwell or 'baoris' and Harshat Mata Temple.

Visit to FATEHPUR SIKRI: A perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur

Early morning enjoy elephant ride while going up to Amber Fort. AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.

A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR- This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

HAWA MAHAL- The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Evening visit Chokhi Dhani. Spread over 10 acres of beautifully landscaped area for a rustic look, it is dotted with machaans & platforms where different folk artists perform concurrently. A village fair is created every evening as an ongoing celebration of the rich & vibrant cultural heritage of Rajasthan.

The display of traditional huts and workmanship will take you back to the times when splendor was unpretentious. Experience the rich warmth and rustic charm of a typical Rajasthani Village at Chokhi Dhani - the festivities never end here !!!
